Skin care is wellness. We take pride in our quality herbal blends and pure ingredients. That's why we let them shine instead of hiding them under toxins, fillers or animal fats. All of our recipes are personal. The Delicate Fox cares for family, friends, and its founder. We make every batch with that same love and care. Everything is handcrafted and batch-tested. Every ingredient matters. Our products are meant to nourish the skin and nurture the self. They have multiple uses and intentions. Even our packaging has meaning. We use BPA free amber glass to preserve the freshness of each product. Please reuse your bottles and jars.
- Are all of your products vegan?
No, some of our products are made with honey, but none of our products contain animal fats or byproducts. They're completely vegetarian and cruelty free. - How are your ingredients sourced?
The majority of our dried herbs are harvested by local growers or communities. All of our ingredients are third-party lab tested and cosmetic-grade. Fair trade ingredients ensures that are products are produced ethically by workers who are compensated fairly. It's important that we know where our ingredients come from. - I thought your products were natural, what are these preservatives?
Preservatives help protect the integrity of our pure ingredients, and they are completely necessary. We don't like our products growing bacteria, fungi, or mold. Preservatives keep everyone safe and clean. The preservatives we use are paraben and formaldehyde free.
Body Butter Care

Storage: Store in a cool, dark place - away from direct sunlight.
Melting: Body butters may melt during transit in warmer weather despite precautions we take to help them arrive perfectly. If your body butter arrives melted, its quality will not be affected. You can choose to refrigerate your body butter until desired consistency. You can also rewhip it in this state.
More Than Shea

Uses: Apply after shower, on damp skin or after lotion. Suggested for use after exfoliation, exposure to drying weather, and after sun care
Details: Our botanical body butters are made primarily of mango butter, which gives it a thick fluffy texture. Mango butter melts quickly, and is lighter on skin than shea butter. We often use shea nut oil in place of shea butter for its nutrient rich properties. This blend gives our butters a non-greasy feel with long-lasting nourishment.

Candle Care & Safety
+ Keep wick trimmed 1/4" for a clean, even burn
+ Do not attempt burn your candle until empty. Stop burning at 1/2" unmelted wax.
+ Trim wick before each burn
+ Do not burn your candle longer than 4 hours at a time
+ Never leave your burning candle unattended
+ Do not attempt to touch or move a burning candle
+ Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris
+ Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets
Suggested Tools: Wick Trimmer / Candle Snuffer - Warning: Wooden wicks can be difficult to light with matches
Instructions: When lighting for the first time, burn until the wax melts across the entire surface to the sides of the vessel. This prevents tunnelling, and creates an even burn for the duration of the candle’s life. This may take 2-4 hours.
Storage: Store in a cool, dark place - away from direct sunlight. Soy wax is sensitive to environmental factors (including fluorescent light). Keep the lid on your candle to protect it from dust, debris, and scent/color loss.

Details: Our candles are made with 100% soy wax without dyes, phthalates, petroleum, or UV inhibitor. While keeping them pure makes them prone to discoloration, proper storage makes yellowing/browning uncommon.
Why Soy Wax: Soy wax is biodegradable, and cleans up with soap and water. Soy wax has a lower melting point than other waxes so it burns slower and lasts longer.
Uses: Our soy wax is skin-safe and can be used for massages or solid perfume. Solid wax will melt with body heat.

+ After Care
Once you're finished with a product, the best thing to do is repurpose the packaging. Start by peeling off the label. Soaking the jar and wiping the outside with isopropyl alcohol will help remove what's left of a stubborn label. Hand wash the vessel with soap and water.
Vessels are heat safe and make a beautiful addition to your decor. You can repurpose vessels to store dry goods, accessories, office supplies, and more. You can also use them to propagate plants, and to home your own DIY projects.
